Manufacturing Investment 2023/2024

Power Source Engine Parts Limited is part of international affiliation of companies who specialise in the supply of high-quality aftermarket parts to the global marketplace.

The affiliation develops, delivers and supplies a vast range of diesel engine components and assemblies for supply to a vast customer base of engine rebuilders, international, national and regional parts distribution outlets as well as supporting service engineers and hobbyists both at the wholesale and retail level.

Our companies offer warehousing and distribution services in both the UK, USA and Asia supported by an ever-expanding design and development technical centre and state of the art test, measurement and manufacturing facilities.

In the last 18 months we have made over $500,000 investment in CNC lathes and Vertical Machining Centre’s together with state-of-the-art leak equipment and programmable 3 -axis co-ordinate measuring machine to ensure our systems and processes adhere to ISO 9001 quality certification.  We are pleased to announce that most recently we have upgraded our quality certification in ISO 9001 to include now both design & development in addition to our manufacturing capabilities and expanded our manufacturing floorspace.

In our technical area we have invested in 3D modelling & scanning software to enable fast tracking of our new products and acquired state of the art computerised test rigs to assess the performance durability and reliability of the oil, water and fuel pump range we develop and manufacture. In particular this equipment has enabled us to develop a range of Cummins, John Deere Engine Lubrication pumps for the later range of fuel-efficient low emission engines, In the forthcoming year we expect to add further products to this range.

In addition to this we have more than doubled our manufacturing capacity to enable us to increase productivity and significantly expand the range of parts we offer.

Our worldwide position also enables us to successfully source products from other ISO approved manufacturing companies to augment our manufactured range of products available to the global marketplace, our technical and manufacturing base together with a competitive cost advantage has enabled our group to secure a number of supply agreements with Global OES in the UK, USA and beyond.

For the coming year we are repeating the capital investment to keep our product portfolio expanding and our manufacturing capacity increasing.

Range Expansion June 2024

One of our core competences is the design, development and manufacture of a large and comprehensive range of lubricating oil, water and fuel pumps fitted to the world’s finest diesel engines.  Our range is ever expanding with the launch of 15 new manufacturing models every year.

Amongst our planned developments for the forthcoming year include pumps for both USA on -highway heavy-duty trucks including Paccar, Mercedes, Volvo & Cummins and further range expansion for John Deere Agricultural & Industrial applications.

On the smaller engine side our range of pumps for the small Shibaura engines is now widespread including Ford New Holland, Case IH, Perkins and Caterpillar applications where compact engines are required, including compact tractors, mini excavators, skid steer loaders and compact wheel & track loaders.

Our Integrated Product Design and Development coupled with our 5S Lean Cellular manufacturing culture enable our reduced development lead-times to bring new products to our range and available to our customers.

Engine Parts Identification Back-Up

The Power Source Technical team are specialists in putting together the manifest of parts you require to overhaul repair or service your diesel engine whatever its application or age.

We specialize in a deep understanding of the 5 C’s of an engine namely:

  • Cylinder Head
  • Cylinder Block
  • Crankshaft
  • Camshaft
  • Connecting Rod

And the parts that mate with them.

Our technical library includes all the latest engine & vehicle manufacturers software databases for latest generation low emission fuel efficient engines from typically 1litre per cylinder engines up to high horsepower 60 litre engines.

For the older engines we again have a large technical manual library which provide vital specifications details for the repair of engines. This enables us to seek out the component parts you need for your repair with the minimum of customer information supplied.

For very old engines where identification is an issue we are used to working with the customers through measurement and engine parts photos to identify where the customer is unsure what engine he has and what parts he requires for his repair.  We are particularly adept in supplying information and parts which have long since been made obsolete by OE manufacturers. The age range of the vehicles we cover goes back to the early 1950’s when diesel engines first began to be a force in the marketplace together with the latest engines produced by the world’s leading producers.

We are also able to provide Torque settings and clearance information for all the primary components of the engine.
